Information stored in the app
The Boring Practice stores your questionnaire answers, activity history, reminders, tasks, notes, reflections, favorites, and app settings on your device. The Boring Practice does not upload or sync what you write, and we cannot read it.
Subscriptions
Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. The app checks verified App Store transaction information to confirm access. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Notifications and Live Activities
If you give permission, the app can schedule local reminders and session completion notifications. Active timers can appear as a Live Activity. You can change these permissions in your device settings.
Website data
This website is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare can process technical request data, such as an IP address, browser information, and security data, to deliver and protect the website. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website.
Support communications
If you contact support, we receive the email address and message that you choose to send. We use this information only to answer your request, protect the service, and meet legal duties. We keep it only for as long as it is needed for these purposes.
Data retention and deletion
App data stays on your device until you delete it or delete the app. Apple can include app data in a device or iCloud backup, based on your device settings. The Boring Practice does not receive or access that backup.
Children
The Boring Practice is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We can update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The current date will appear at the top of this page.
